NAF stand out with UKAS accreditation...

NAF are please to be one of the few supplement companises with UKAS acreditation. What does this mean? By being UKAS accredited it means we've passed a rigorous independent audit to comply with the globally recognised FEMAS (Feed Materials Assurance Scheme) standards for food safety. Following the 1990 Food Safety Act, and more recent Feed Hygiene Regulations, traceability has become a key issue. Traceability is particularly relevant to herbal supplements, where natural ingredients may be sourced worldwide. When ingredients for one product may come from England, China and India - can you be confident that your horse’s herbs have been hygienically produced and safely stored? Because of how the scheme is run a UKAS accredited manufacturer can guarantee good quality and safety standards from the tub right back to the field where it was grown.

Look for the crown and tick logo – the one true mark of a quality manufacturer.

New Look NAF

NAF have launched a new corporate image which has been developed to reflect the company's ever growing status in the market.

The clean new logo is underpinned with the strap line 'Restoring the Balance' which defines the action of the natural nutritional formulas produced by the company's own veterinary scientists and nutritionists.

The new logo will be appearing on the exciting new look NAF packaging that will start to appear in store from July 06.

The now famous NAF black horse appears in the new logo and on the new packaging.

Who is the NAF Black Horse?

His name is Kindersong and he is an eight year old British bred Warmblood.

Known affectionately as Bug he has been brought up on NAF products. From the age of three to five, his growth and development was supported by Youngstock Supplement. Breaking him in proved difficult, he tended towards being very tense, so Tempralax played a huge role in this long slow process!

By the famous dressage stallion, Donnersong, Bug was destined for a career in dressage, which is exactly the path he's taken. His competition days all start with a bath in Wash & Show, a spray of D-Tangler in his tail and a misting of Shine & Show over his quarters. It has to be said his gleaming black coat is not down to hours of grooming, but his daily measure of Oilovite, which he's been maintained on for the last three years. His continued progress and performance is supported by the targeted nutritional support of Five Star Superflex to maintain the flexibility of his maturing joints, and, Five Star Magic to help him to cope with the atmosphere of show days!

We'll keep you updated with the progress of Bug, NAF's very own black horse...
